Frequently Asked Questions
Real talk, real answers… no fluff, no shame.
What is Health Coaching, really?
It’s like having a compassionate co-pilot while you figure out how to feel better in your body, mind, and life. It’s not about being told what to do… it’s about exploring what works for you. I bring the tools, you bring the truth, and together we make change doable.
How is Mental Health Coaching different from therapy?
Firstly, I like to call it Mental Fitness Coaching. When we build up our brain fitness, this helps with how we feel. So Mental Health or rather Mental Fitness Coaching is about supporting your present and building your future.
Therapy often focuses on healing the past. We work on stress, emotional overwhelm, mindset shifts, and tools to help you move forward in life… instead of away from where you want to be.
Do you just give me a meal plan?
Nope. Nutrition Coaching isn’t about one-size-fits-all rules or cutting things out. It’s about understanding your body’s needs, and patterns with food, so you can fuel yourself in ways that are supportive to your body and your brain.
What kinds of things can you help with?
Emotional eating, body image, ADHD, stress and anxiety, gut health, cravings, exhaustion, and more. If it’s tied to your body, brain, or belly, I’m your woman!
Do I need to have a diagnosis or serious issue to start health coaching?
Not at all. You just need to want to feel better, or want to improve your health and wellbeing. Whether you’re feeling stuck, or you’re looking for growth, coaching meets you where you’re at.
I’ve tried everything. Will this actually work?
What if, maybe, you’ve just never had the right support? Coaching with me isn’t about fixing you. It’s about helping you reconnect with yourself and create sustainable change, in a way that finally makes sense.
What’s a coaching session like?
I ask you questions to help you explore, and gain insights. I may share patterns I’m seeing or offer science-backed strategies, or mindset tools. Together, we uncover what’s working, what’s not, and what’s next. All in a space that’s safe, compassionate, and refreshingly real.
How long do people usually work with you?
It varies. Some people get what they need in 9-12 sessions. Others stay longer to shift deeper patterns – whatever serves you best.
Do you work with ADHD or neurodivergent clients?
Absolutely. I’m neurodivergent too, and I get it. I’ve trained in Acceptance Commitment Therapy for ADHD and I’m trained in brain science, so I work with your brain, not against it.
Do you have more questions?
I'm happy to answer them!
